1000 LITER BITUMEN SPRAYERS

The TS1000 Bitumen Sprayer is a reliable, efficient and easy machine to use. The quality of design incorporated into each machine gives it a long and useful life in the most rugged of environments. Over 300 of these machines have been produced, many of which were used by local councils for street maintenance and small scale work.

Combinations of options are available to make this model range suitable for most small operations.

  • Bitumen Application Rate Control by pump and road speed.
  • Application by Hand Lance, Spray Bar of up to 13 nozzle width.
  • Steel welded tank construction with 100mm high quality fibreglass insulation.
  • Tank is hermetically sealed in glass reinforced black plastic sheathing for a hard wearing, corrosion and rust resistant body. Accidental damage is easy to repair.
  • All pipework is internal to ensure that the product is always pumpable.
  • Tank heating may be by diesel or gas burner with electric elements while at the depot.

An ideal mid range size of sprayers for medium size contracts.

  • Designed to meet international specifications
  • Skid mounted to the tray of a truck or permanently fixed to the truck chassis.
  • Internal tank baffles reduce bitumen surging for better load stability,
  • Fibreglass insulation round tank, high temperature insulation round the flame tube .
  • Bitumen Pump Internally mounted 50mm or 75mm positive displacement pump.
  • The bitumen pump is driven by a diesel engine through a Vee Belt drive.
  • Auxiliary Engine for use with standard pump drive.
  • Two control valves, a two position valve for bitumen pump or suck operation and a three position valve for gang bar, recirculate of hand lance operation.
  • 2.4M (24 nozzle) to 4.0M (40 nozzle) wide fully recirculating gang bar to eliminate blockages through plugs of cold bitumen. Each nozzle has its own valve to enable the spray width to be easily adjusted at will by lifting arms on the valves.
  • Choice of Application Rate Control. Manual with spray chart, microprocessor application rate indicator or fully automatic computer control. All systems are designed for accuracy and ease of use.
